Imagine relaxing with your picnic blanket on beautiful manicured lawn, cosy pillow, bare feet, with your favourite person or your family, sipping on your favourite drink. You’re surrounded in the tranquillity of nature, with beautiful music playing from the ClassicsConcert at NIROX. There’s a great selection of delicious food. Sunglasses, summer hats, shorts, summer dresses and sunscreen, you’re all amped for a day of doing absolutely nothing but relaxing.

Sounds Surreal? You don’t have to imagine anymore, you can experience this for real. Whether you want to make this a romantic date or treat your family to a beautiful day out, this is an experience to consider. Who says you can’t have fun in the sun if you don’t have access to the ocean? Our beautiful city has many things to do and places to see, you just have to find them and if you haven’t been to NIROX SCULPUTURE PARK before, here’s some motivation to visit…

P.S. I’m giving away a set of tickets to this event, details at the bottom of this post

ClassicsConcert at NIROX - PeanutGallery247

Experience passion, romance and the melodic mysteries of the Mediterranean as our 40-piece orchestra takes you on a thrilling musical adventure through France, Italy and Spain.

Under the baton of Maestro Kutlwano Masote and led by Miro Chakaryan Concert Master of The JPO, our powerful orchestra explores some of the greatest orchestral masterpieces from the big screen to pearls of the Classical, Romantic and Impressionist traditions.

A programme of Mediterranean Musical Magic including violin virtuoso Jonathan Mayer strumming sultry sounds of Sarasate and Saint-Saens, the fanfare of the “fandango” from the trumpet of Phil Cox & Arabian aromas of Tunisia, a plaintive Pavane, the “Ritual Fire Dance” of de Falla and culminating in Ravel’s Bolero!

Feel the passion, thrill to the flavours & aromas, experience the fire of love and succumb to the romance of Mediterranean Classics at NIROX.

Epic festival food will be courtesy of the Epicurean Emporium, featuring an array of the finest traders from Johannesburg’s flourishing food markets, as well as freshly established Jozi restauranteurs.
