For some odd reason, experiences from the past didn’t serve as lessons.
Instead it became a nasty Pattern.
Doubt resided within, suspicions rose but in an attempt to trust, I made the same mistake again…again and again.
I had almost lost myself in the quest for love.
I wanted it so badly that I was blinded.
When I was almost down to zero,
I gave up on my quest.
Enough was enough.
I’d pick up the pieces and let it be about me.
What I was searching for, I found within.
It took me a long while but better late than never.
It’s only then I broke those chains that were holding me back.
It’s only then I was freed from that pattern and it was only then I found my true love.
I guess it’s true what they say…
That you can’t expect a different result if you keep doing the same things.
Wherever you are in life,
Whoever you’re with or not,
There’s no better time than now to set yourself free from unhealthy patterns.
You have the power in you to be awesome,
Don’t let anyone or circumstances decide otherwise.
This is your life…the choices you make now will pave the way forward.
I’m glad I decided to make a change and because of that, I met my special “someone”.
