Summer is here and this means that we need refreshing beverages to keep us cool. More and more people are drinking Iced Tea, for more than one reason. Who said that tea has to be boring? With a little creativity, iced tea can not only be refreshingly great, but also look pretty and depending on what you infuse it with, can also taste delicious.
This season is certainly going to be a Tea Thing – an Iced Tea Thing – you’re gonna want to be seen sipping on iced tea, cos tea never looked or tasted this good…right? The images on this post are on fleek, I think even if you are not an Iced Tea lover, you will be tempted.
It has been said that ‘happiness is homemade’, and we’d like to toast to that … with a refreshing glass of homemade iced tea! Together, South Africa’s favourite tea brands, Freshpak Rooibos and Five Roses open up a world of opportunities to create a host of delicious iced tea drinks in the comfort of your own home.
Antioxidants are said to slow down the progression of old age and is excellent for the skin, which could be a reason why so many people are becoming iced tea drinkers.

It’s easier on the pocket and you have total control over what goes into every jug! Best of all, it’s so easy to make!
Take Freshpak Berry, Honey, Lime & Vanilla Iced Tea, using Freshpak Rooibos tea: all you’ll need is five tea bags, boiling water, honey, lime juice, vanilla essence and a cup of berries! Pour into a couple of drinking jars, pull up the lounger and chillax next to the pool after a sweltering day! Just take a sip and you’ll know that goodness comes naturally with Freshpak Rooibos Tea! When we first made the Freshpak Junior tea for Kayden, I thought he wasn’t not going to enjoy it. To my surprise, he loves it! He enjoys it more than he enjoys juices. I am certainly not complaining as this is a healthy option for him. We don’t add any sugar to it.
Children love ice lollies, so here’s some inspiration: If you’re a creative parent, add some of their favourite chopped up fruit to these iced tea lollies.

I never considered myself an iced tea drinker but I love the variety of flavours and how creative one can get with it – certainly a great choice for summer when you don’t want or don’t drink alcohol 😉
Iced tea hasn’t been my thing. But after seeing these pics and checking out the recipes, you have convinced me to give it a go.
