Occasionally, every so often, there’s a song that comes along that so perfectly describes how you feel about something and/or someone and you just connect with that song…that’s how I feel about Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect”

Damn you, Ed Sheeran, you nailed it!

If you listen to the lyrics in this song very carefully, it will explain my mood.

I am so in love with this song, it has touched me copiously.

Even though it is Ed Sheeran singing this song for a woman,

It reverberates the feelings I have for my husband.

It almost feels like a fairy tale, yet I am blessed enough to know that I’ve found such a love.

I think it resonates with me this much because my husband and I met when we were still kids – in primary school (if you haven’t already picked this up in previous posts).

I love the feeling of being in love and to love and be loved.

It is truly astounding to feel such love, it’s so Atmospheric .

This song is one of the most beautiful songs I have heard recently.

It touches my heart so much that I sometimes want to cry,

But it’s tears of joy.

Joy to know that such a love is not a fairy tale and that dreams do come true.

This is such a feel-good song!

If you’re soon to get married, I’m so with you on why you’d choose this as your wedding song!

I am not sure if those of you who are not in love or haven’t yet found your love, will agree. Or perhaps it is inspiration for when you do find your special love.

I just want to be barefoot on the grass, listening to this song and dancing in the dark…

But I’ll sit right here on my couch as I share these thoughts with you.

Oh love…dear love…isn’t it such a beautiful feeling to find “your perfect” someone.

There are just not enough words to express my love for this song.

If it seems like I am head over heels about this song,

Well actually, I am head over heels about my husband and this song justifiably has found its way to the part of me that beats.

My wish is that every one of you reading this, will at least, even if it’s only once in your life, experience such love.

Don’t search for someone who is “perfect” – it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be true and that, makes it “perfect” …if you know what I mean. Do you?

  1. I guess that it is true. Yeah, actually the emotions are unraptured when you meet at the beginning. And from there on, you start communicating, cooperating and make compromises together to make it fit for you two.
