(Updated November 2018) Well Hello August! It’s Women’s Month! A month where we get to celebrate and appreciate women of all shapes, colours and sizes.  With it being Women’s Month and because I have seen many new visitors to my blog, I thought now would be a great time for you my valued readers, to learn a little more about the woman behind this blog – yes, that’s ME.

I will share some insight about myself in the form of questions and answers below, but let me first start by sharing with you how and why I began blogging. (by the way, I began blogging a few years back, but I wasn’t very intentional about it, as I am now – I deleted the previous blogs a few years ago anyway)

Early this year, I decided to blog as I wanted to channel my creative energy into something meaningful. I didn’t have work-life balance and deciding to blog was going to be my way of finding that balance. I must admit, when I created my blog in January this year, I didn’t think it would be where it is right now. From January, up until around the end of May, I used the free WordPress version; I thereafter registered my own domain and have had not many regrets since. Sometimes I wonder if the name Peanut Gallery 24/7 is appropriate or if people would take me seriously; should I perhaps change it to my name and surname? For now, I think I’ll leave it as is.

Let me share with you how I got the name…When I was pregnant, we didn’t know if it was going to be a girl or a boy, so we called him or her “Peanut”.  During my pregnancy, family members created a chat group on WhatsApp and called it “Peanut Gallery” as it was talk about my pregnancy and the baby on board.

When I created my blog, I asked my husband for some suggestions and we both liked Peanut Gallery because of the significance of the name to us. Peanut Gallery was not available so I added the 24/7. And that my dear readers, is how we arrived at the name.

  1. Thanks for sharing such interesting information with us. You are definitely an inspiration through your blog. I read all the post on your blog and noticed that you left Dubai out at one of the countries that you have visited. 😊😍

  2. This is so amazing to learn more about u and the name behind your blog. I absolutely love it, so perfect, so appropriate and so fitting. I must admit that at first I thought it was a funny/jokes page when I was first invited to like your page. I haven’t met u but u seem to be a beautiful soul with a gorgeous smile. I love your reads. Oh and im obsessed with the letter “K” and I named my girls Khloe & Kayla. If I did have a son he would also be called Kayden 🙂 Glad to know we also share a birthday in the same month October 🙂 🙂 🙂

    1. Hi Stephanie, thanks for your wonderful comment. I love and enjoy knowing what my readers feel/think. You’re not the first to say the title of my page was misleading – hopefully everyone else will take the time to look into it like you did. I wish I could write more, sometimes I have the most wonderful ideas at the wrong times. I am glad you enjoy it and thank you for your support, I appreciate it very much!

  3. Oh how I love reading/meeting the woman or man behind the blog. Your post is wonderful. I feel that you really want your readers to know you, and I for one believe that’s what makes bloggers so special when they invite “us” to ride along with them on their blogging journey.

By the way, I’m a Libra as well. I could almost tell you were too just by reading your questions and answers.

I took a moment and clicked over to EBay. If you search for the perfume you’ve been missing, I believe you will find a nice selection of it there.

Thanks for taking a leap of faith, and going all in here at WordPress. The name you chose is the very thing that drew me to your blog. My beloved Mother would always say: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

    Highest and Best!

    1. Hi Jennifer

Firstly, I apologise for the extremely delayed response. I was so touched when I received your comment. It is so wonderful to have such details in comments, it affirms my decision to blog and makes me feel good about the effort I put in to blog. It takes a Libra to notice another 😉 I will most certainly have a look at EBay, that is SO kind of you to even check! One of the things that I am loving on my journey of blogging, is meeting people like yourself, even if it’s just online. Thanks for visiting and taking the time to provide feedback, I value it very much!

  4. I enjoy your blogs. It’s amazing how you find the time considering that you are a career woman, mother and wife. Keep it up. Thanks for sharing with us.
