  1. True friends are always willing to listen, they will never judge you but will accept you for who you are, and somehow a true friends smile will always make you feel better, so you should strive to always be the best true friend you can be

    1. Thanks for the comment Bianca, this competition has already ended and the winners have been contacted.

  2. Always be there for your friends even when they are too stubborn to realise that they they need you! Stick around, they will eventually thank you 😉

Still have my fingers crossed …. really hoping to win this for my Baby Girl

  3. Don’t do to others what you don’t want to be done to yourself , be proud of who you are… and your friends will to.

  4. Always BE an honest and true friend. Always BE Kind.

That’s how an awesome friendship will build and grow.

  5. The best advice from the My Little Pony shows my daughter relates to is : Unconditional love and friendship laughter, forgiveness . and accepting everybody for who they are , and always give a helping hand when a friend needs help xx

  6. My advice to my daughter would be that it’s okay to be who you are, don’t pretend to be somebody that others want you to be

  7. Friendship is all trust. Its being there for each other. A true friend corrects you when you are wrong. True friendship is tested after you finish school. You see who still is there with you and who has parted their own ways. Would love to win this for my daughter.

    1. I agree Sahima. My best girl friend and I are friends since 1992 (Standard 6 then), she has relocated to Canada and I miss her dearly but she is still my best girl friend. Good luck!

  8. My advice will be …
do not worry about finding the perfect friend …
rather concentrate on being the perfect friend.
Everything else will fall into place 🙂

  9. True friends are hard to find but once u find it dont let go of them. Cherish true friends and tell them how much they mean to u 🙂

    1. We take the last part for granted…don’t we? Telling them how much they mean to us…It’s never too late to let them know now…it’s the simple little things like this that can mean the most.

  10. A true friend is someone that you can share anything with and will always be there for u in good times and bad 🙂 A true friend is also not someone who will use you when the condition suits them but rather someone who stands by u through everything:-)

  11. Its love that makes the world go round 🙂 Love can change even the most difficult person. Its the beauty that shines bright from within our hearts and not outward beauty that can melt anyone. So I will tell my little girls to be kind, compassionate, caring most importantly to love one another. The world out there is hard but its about our willingness to make a difference 🙂

  12. It’s truly a tough world with “some” ugly people… as parents we believe once we dine with our kids the world 🌎 deals with them. It all starts at home and from a young age. I strive to lead by example and as my daughter is growing we also learn from her … that makes me proud, I know I’m doing something right. Stand for what you believe and always be true to yourself.

    1. How amazing it is that you can learn from her and you have every right to feel proud, well done mommy!

  13. My daughter is 6 years and she started Grade 1 this year in a new school. I remember that she was so sad because all the her Grade R friends went to different schools and she wasnt sure if she was going to make new friends.
I remember telling her to wear a big smile on her face the whole day saying hello to every little girl she met and she will definitely make lots of friends.
She came back home that day with a full lunch box because she had no time to eat her lunch..
She only had time to play with all her new friends 🙂

  14. I always tell my Girl that choosing a friend shouldnt depend on how popular a certain person is.
It needs to depend on the kind of person they are.
It also shouldnt depend on how they look.
They need to have a kid heart.

  15. I have always made it a point to teach my child to be as kind as possible.
Being a good friend is just as important as having a good friend.
It is important to be the kind of person that others would want to friend.
Be honest, caring and most of all kind to everybody!

  16. Being a mom of two little girls the best advice i will give to them is that friendship is about:
1.Leading by example as we cannot control the actions of others but we can control our own actions and how we treat people.
2.Friendship is not a competition and good friends support each others strong points.
3.Friends can pick u up or bring u down and a true friend will always raise u up.
    4. True friends stick with u through thick and thin.
5.A real friend will always tell u the truth and would rather hurt u a little than see u make a huge mistake. An honest one 🙂
6.Good friends accept your imperfections and will not try to change u for who u are.
    7. Friendship is not about looks or how cool u are.
    8. Friends are allowed to make mistakes as they are human to.
    9. True friends stand up for each other and backstabbing is never a sign of friendship.
    10. Cherish true friends and make sure u tell them how much they mean to u 🙂

  17. Each true friend is valuable, losing a friend is a huge loss for the rest of your life, each is worth a million happy moments

  18. As a mom to two little ones, this is the advice i give and try to teach with every real life opportunity that comes along. My kids know the ‘Friendship Sentence’ off by heart now, which is: To have a friend, you need to be a friend! After that i try to teach them the 5 parts of being a friend. They are 1. Caring 2. Helpful 3.Loyal 4.Trustful 5.Respectful. They sometimes forget one or two…..but it helps them to understand the basic concept of friendship.

  19. My advice for her would be to treat her friends like she would want to be treated! A good loyal honest friend is one of life’s blessings , we should keep them close .

  20. As a mom, the best advice I can give my kids is to Always be there for one another. Friendship is all about listening to one another and not judging. Its about just being there in a time of need and making everything all right. Its about having special people in your life that you make wonderful memories with that last forever. And there will be good and bad times, but as long as you stand together through both:-)

  21. The best advice I can give my girls is to always be themselves and that if their friends can’t accept them for who they are then those are not people that they want to be around.

  22. Friendship starts with a smile and needs love and trust to grow into an unbreakable bond!
The best advice I can give my little girl about friendship is that it revovles around trust. Once the trust is broken, it will never be the same again!
I would love to win this for my Doll Deanna … she would just be over the moon!
    Fingers crossed 🙂
