It’s that time of the year where the days and weeks seem to crawl as the year-end approaches, even though this year seems to have gone by so quickly. I find myself thinking about a holiday. It’s been a tiring year, tiring but amazing at the same time. Perhaps I’m also influenced by all these posts that I’m seeing on social media about crazy Black Friday Sale specials…

On that note, it’s so important to take a break from the mundane. Our minds and body deserve a break. It’s imperative that we do get that much needed rest, as we are then able to think more clearly. It’s very hard to come up with great ideas when your body and mind is exhausted.

I don’t know about you, but I certainly feel refreshed after a holiday, well, depending on the destination, there are times I probably felt like I needed a holiday from the holiday! That’s great, it just means I had fun and I don’t see anything wrong with that.

My Favourite Holiday Destination – Cape Town

With these fantastic flight specials, I am reminiscing about previous trips to the beautiful Western Cape. There’s just so much to see and to do there. I have been there a few times and I am still not tired and I don’t think I ever will be…of visiting this gorgeous city. Be sure to check out TravelStart’s amazing specials on flights from Johannesburg to Cape Town.

If you need some motivation, here’s some photos from previous trips hubby and I made to the Mother City.

If you haven’t been to Boulder’s Beach in the Cape, make a point of visiting. I love the colony of Penguins there, they are just so cute! This photo below is one of my favourite photos I’ve taken of the penguins, what do you think of it?

Don’t forget, there are also international destinations on special. Don’t procrastinate, if you want to visit another country and it’s been on your list of things to do, take advantage of TravelStart’s BLACKFLY Day sale and turn that dream into a reality.  Very often, we say “next year” or “another time” and for some of us, we sadly don’t end up realising that dream.

Perhaps it’s not your dream but someone else’s – well then, why not treat them to a well deserved holiday? There doesn’t have to be a special occasion, this can be a gesture of goodwill from your side, to express appreciation for that special someone in your life.  It doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg. If you’re able to afford to treat someone or your family to a holiday, then go for it!

They say that when an opportunity knocks on your door, you take it, well, this sale is an opportunity not to be missed, so don’t say that I didn’t warn you.

Happy shopping! I hope that you will grab the deal holiday you have your heart set on!

Are you going to be indulging in the TravelStart BLACKFLY Day sale? I’d love to know what your dream holiday destination is, please do leave a comment and let me know.
